The Reconstructionist Movement has always been committed to Israel and the Jewish state, but times have changed, and the movement recognizes that our understanding of Israel and Zionism has evolved over time. Rabbi Maurice Harris, head of the movement’s Jewish Israel Commission, will walk congregants through the changes in the movement’s understanding of Zionist thought over time.
